by Seb Egerton-Read Seb Egerton-Read - Circulate News, Jun. 30, 2015 –

The ?Internet of Things? is a concept where items and objects, billions of them, are connected to the internet, allowing them to communicate useful information that can help the future economy by supporting the creation of more effective manufacturing processes, or by enabling household owners to cut household costs, not to mention many other possibilities. It is considered to be the next step forward for mobile and wearable technology by some, but two MIT engineers have identified a potential problem, the limitation of power, or more specifically ? battery charge. Their innovative solution utilises solar electricity in a new technology that achieves impressive energy to electricity conversion rates.

Mobile phone usually need frequent charging, especially if they are being utilised for more advanced features. Few people haven?t experienced an ?out of battery? moment when there are no charging options available.
