Bounce for wearables
Despite a gathering impression that wearables are tanking, the wearables market grew 16.9% in 4Q16, says IDC, with a record 33.9 million units shipped in Q4.

Over the year, 102.4 million wearables devices were sold.
Fitbit, Xiaomi, Apple, Garmin and Samsung led the market.
But although Fitbit kept the No.1 slot, it's Q4 unit shipments were 6.5 million as compared with 8.4 million in Q4 2015.
Xiaomi shot up to No.2 shipping 5.2 million devices in Q4 206 compared to 2.6 in Q415
Apple did 4.6 million in Q516 compared with 4.1 million inQ515
Garmin did 2.1 million in Q416 compared to 2.2 million in Q415
Samsung did 1.9 million units in Q416 compared to 1.4 million units in Q415.
