Samsung Elec to make all home appliances smart embedded with AI and IoT by 2020

By Lee Dong-in, Aug. 23, 2017 – South Korea's Samsung Electronics Co., a global powerhouse in electronics components and appliances, vowed Tuesday to make all of its products smart, connected with voice-enabled computing intelligence and Wi-Fi Internet features within the next three years.

"We will demonstrate what genuine and ideal user-friendly smart home can be," said the company adding that details will be revealed at the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) 2017, an international exhibition for home appliances running from Sept. 1 to 6 in Berlin, Germany.

For example, the refrigerator would act as the command center. It would ready all the food materials upon voice demand and remotely activate the cleaner and washer while the user concentrates on cooking. Click here to read more ...
