Arrows all-in-one IoT platform has Renesas Synergy MCU and Bosch sensors

Arrow Electronics has launched its latest IoT development platform based on the Renesas IoT Synergy ecosystem.

Incorporating hardware and software the ARIS EDGE platform features a Renesas Synergy S124 32MHz Arm Cortex-M0+ microcontroller.

On-board MEMS sensors from Bosch Sensortec include the 9-axis Absolute Orientation sensor BNO055 this is an application specific sensor node which integrates a Bosch MEMS accelerometer, a gyroscope, a geomagnetic sensor and a 32-bit microcontroller running the Bosch Sensortec's BSX3.0 FusionLib software.

ARIS EDGE can be expanded using widely available Arduino shields.

Applications could include robotics, augmented and virtual reality, drones, gaming, as well as other industrial applications.
