Software License Management Enterprise Platform

Managing global and local resources in a large company can be a headache when based on individually managed spreadsheets. Having fully integrated data in a web based tool is the only way that makes sense today.

D&R Enterprise platform is a new generation management platform based on powerful innovation and has proven amazing efficiency for managing in a large corporation not only IPs (IP-MS™) but today software licensing across multiple sites (SL-MS).

By connecting and keeping in Sync such items as user groups, their SW configurations and costs, SW feature names, and their license servers opens the door to being able to make costs saving decisions.

It includes a monitoring layer reporting on License Feature usage per customizable period (average, peak, denied access, etc.). But it is more than just monitoring... Incorporating these data in a global administration portal gives the required global view for optimizing License Management and allowing for cost saving decisions.

Software License Monitoring Layer

License monitoring primitives provide a valuable source of data for the managers looking for cost saving decision. The platform integrates a FLEXlm front end capturing all user actions by triggering automated repeated LMstat commands as well as Log file parsing. "Any" customized report and associated curves is made available for the manager. Filtered not only by feature/Time but also by groups [Cost group or NNU (Network Named User) group] enhances the analysis power.

Software License Administration

In large companies it is a challenge to centrally manage dozens of tools at dozens of user sites and cost centers. D&R platform adds to an efficient corporate Ecosystem description: machines, users groups, SW products, business unit cost, etc. the relevant interconnected web views.

A next generation Configurable Enterprise Platform

D&R Enterprise Management Platform is a multi role extensible platform. A role per tool manager allows dedicated treatments which is badly needed to reach efficiency. An extensible set of Java commands allows for full configurability of the platform Basic features include:

Product Catalog engine allowing the creation, evolution, import/export of configurable hierarchical multi view catalogs based on user's "Role". Thus a role per software allows dedicated treatments per tool which is badly needed to reach efficiency.
Interconnected configurable dashboards or Product "management panels" use a large extensible set of advanced XML typing including embedded functions calculations through Python scripts allowing financial reporting, calendar View based alerts and more.
A comprehensive set of ADMIN Features comes with the platform (user authentication system in sync with the company, sophisticated access management system, tracking of any action, alerts or notification to users, user request workflow etc.
