Think Silicon is specialized in designing extreme small, ultra-low power, high-performance 2D & 3D graphics (GPU), video (ISP), display (DP) and Machine learning accelerating microprocessor cores for ultra-low power and area limited digital devices for worldwide semiconductor technology customers. Working closely with our customers we have built a portfolio of silicon proven products. Company portfolio includes GPUs, display processors, and graphics accelerators focusing in ultra-low power consumption and thus in battery life extension. Products have been licensed to a number of customers including leading semiconductor companies in the fields of multimedia, microcontrollers, Wearable and IoT markets. Moving from the mobile world to the rising IoT/ Wearable era, requirements are changing rapidly. Devices like smartwatches, glasses, patches or even smart clothes are equipped with displays and require high quality graphics. The main challenge in these new devices is the battery life and how to make them to last more than one day without searching for wall plugs and charging stations. Latest series released is NEMA®|pico XS and NEMA®|pico XL Multi-Core GPU IP-Series. The architecture of this latest development has been specifically designed from bottom-up for the new generation of wearable and IoT products. The series offers architectural innovation that brings performance graphics rendering to the smallest and most power-conservative embedded display devices. Additionally, customers have the benefit of implementing multicore configurations, vector graphics and video overlay functionality. Think Silicon offers a full complement of NEMA®|pico GPU IP to meet the needs of the growing embedded graphics market. Embedded systems customers now have access to the most flexible, versatile, high-performance and ultra-low power GPU platform in the market designed for a wide variety of devices from MCUs (microcontroller unit) to crossover processor SoCs (System-on-a-Chip).
