Biography :
| Hweihn Chung is the Vice President and Head of R&D Planning at OPENEDGES Technology. With nearly 30 years of extensive experience in system semiconductors and image processing, he leads the planning and commercialization of key IPs for AI computing SoCs. He began his career at Samsung Electronics as a Senior Engineer in the System LSI Division, where he played a central role in the development and mass production of major semiconductor products such as camcorder video processors, LCD monitor image enhancement SoCs, DVDR SoCs, and mobile application processors for Apple iPhones. He later joined NEXTCHIP, where he served as Head of R&D and the Automotive Business Unit. In this role, he led the development and commercialization of automotive image processing SoCs and ADAS SoCs, contributing significantly to the company's growth in the automotive semiconductor market. |
