Biography :
| Farzad Zarrinfar is a veteran semiconductor and IP business leader with deep experience across IP, EDA, ASIC, and SoC solutions. At InnoSilicon, Ottawa Head Quarter, he drives sales and marketing, expanding the company's presence in AI, HPC, Automotive/Infotainment, and Low Power IoT markets. He leads strategy and promotion of high speed interface IP and ASIC platforms, including Ethernet 400/100G, PCIe Gen6/Gen5, UCIe, LPDDR5X/6, DDR5, HBM3, and MIPI C/D subsystems. Previously, Farzad served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Major Accounts at Alphawave Semi, where he scaled business pre and post IPO and generated over $25M annually with customers such as Qualcomm, Celestial.AI, ADI, Renesas, Siemens, Rambus, IBM, Microchip, and Microsoft. He earned the company's 100%+ Club Achievement award and has extensive experience selling IP across 7nm to 3nm nodes. Before Alphawave, he led the silicon IP business at Mentor Graphics and served as President & CEO of Novelics, which he grew to profitability and later sold to Mentor. His earlier leadership roles include ARC International, SONY Semiconductor, and Samsung Semiconductor, where he expanded North American ASIC revenue from $30M to over $150M. He began his career in engineering and marketing roles at LSI Logic, Lockheed Martin, and Texas Instruments. . Mr. Zarrinfar holds BSEE, MSEE, and MBA. |
