He received his Master’s degree from Seoul National University in 2000. In 2003, he co-founded Chips&Media Inc. and has since worked as an engineer, contributing to the company’s core technologies. In 2020, he was appointed as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With over 25 years of experience in video IP research, development, and business, he has been deeply involved in advancing video codec technologies and building strategic industry partnerships.
