Qualitas Semiconductor Signs Licensing Agreement with Chinese SoC Company for DSI-2 Controller and MIPI PHY IP

SEOUL, South Korea  – QUALITAS SEMICONDUCTOR CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Qualitas") (KOSDAQ: 432720), a leading provider of high-speed interconnect solutions, has announced today that it has signed a licensing agreement with a SoC (System-on-Chip) company in China to deliver its DSI-2 Controller and MIPI PHY IP.

Qualitas’s IP will be integrated into the customer's embedded CPU-based applications. This agreement marks a significant milestone, demonstrating the global recognition of Qualitas’s technological excellence and reliability in the high-speed interface IP market.

The DSI-2 controller supports 4K resolution at 60Hz with RGB 30-bit color, offering a high-performance yet low-power solution. Key features include up to 4.5Gbps per lane across 4 lanes, support for CTA-861-G and VESA-compatible video timing, operation in Command and Video modes, and Burst Mode-based low-power design.

Qualitas’s MIPI PHY IP, one of the company’s most mature and production-proven IPs. Known for its robust reliability and verified performance, the PHY IP delivers optimized design and technical expertise for a wide range of SoC interface applications.

This supply agreement signifies Qualitas’s transition from a provider of Hard Macro PHY IPs to a supplier of integrated sub-system level solutions including controllers, reinforcing its role as a key foundry partner capable of delivering customized, full-stack IP solutions to customers.
