Analogue Insight Safe Announces AISAFE Digital Noise Source IP for Scalable Performance Hardware Entropy Sources in ASICs

PORTLAND — Analogue Insight Safe today announced the availability of the Analogue Insight Safe Digital Noise Source, a high-performance, low-area, low- power physical noise source with digitization designed for use in NIST SP800-G0B and AIS 20/31 compliant hardware entropy sources.

The design leverages metastability to produce high data rate random bits and supports operation in either self-oscillating or synchronous modes, accommodating a wide range of SoC and ASIC integration requirements.

Modern security-sensitive designs increasingly rely on robust, high-quality entropy for cryptographic key generation, secure boot, secure communications, and device identity. The Analogue Insight Safe Digital Noise Source addresses these demands by combining high throughput and fast startup with a compact gate footprint, enabling designers to scale entropy architectures without compromising tight silicon area and power budgets.
