TES Launches its µEngine: Parallel CPU System for Deterministic Real-Time HDL Applications
TES Launches its µEngine: Parallel CPU System for Deterministic Real-Time HDL Applications
Feb. 16, 2026 –
Utilizing its µEngine concept, TES provides a processor tailored precisely to your needs as it is capable of transferring complex digital circuit tasks to software-executable mini-computer structures.
Each complex task is assigned to a dedicated mini-computer (µEngine), specifically optimized for that workload. This optimization enables highly efficient, deterministic, and real-time processing.
In one RAISE system, multiple diverse µEngines operate in parallel, communicating seamlessly while sharing resources to maximize scalability.
Key Benefits
-
Faster development and simplified adjustments – even after tape-out
-
Reduced costs and shorter time-to-market
-
Deterministic timing without unpredictable interrupts
-
Single-thread execution per µEngine, multi-threading via RAISE
-
Pre-simulation for maximum planning accuracy
Use Cases
-
Complex state-machines
-
Digital filters
-
Protocol converters
-
Hardware accelerators
-
Specialized embedded microcontrollers
-
Specialized parallel processor structures
-
Feedback loop controllers (PD, PI, PID)
-
Brushless DC motor controllers
