Founded at the end of 2018, Risecore is a company that provides RISC-V high-end core processor solutions. The founding team comes from the UC Berkeley RISC-V original project team. At present, the company mainly develops high-efficiency processor of IP cores based RISC-V, vertical domain (DSA) custom processor design services and custom chip solutions, which are applied to high computing power requirements in various fields from edge to data center.

Since its establishment, RiVAI has been endorsed by top investment institutions, and its customers include many well-known domestic and foreign companies, and carry out IP authorization and SoC customized development cooperation.

In 2021, RiVAI completed the A+ round of financing, led by ByteDance and Hillhouse Ventures, followed by Shuanghu Capital, Shuimu Investment Group, Lenovo Ventures, ZhenFund, Northern Lights Ventures, Baidu Ventures Investment and other old shareholders continue to increase their stakes.
