Wei-Jin Dai joined VeriSilicon in 2016. He is currently Director, Chief Strategy Officer, Executive Vice President, GM of IP Division. Wei-Jin has more than 40 years of experience managing business and product development, including as President & CEO of Vivante Corporation before it merged into VeriSilicon. At Vivante, he oversaw the development of industry-leading GPU IP, VISION processor IP, and Display IP products used in automotive, IoT platforms, entertainment system and mobile devices. Before joining Vivante, Wei-Jin was Corporate Vice President at Cadence Design Systems’ leading Digital Implementation System Division for the Encounter product line, which was acquired along with the company Wei-Jin co-founded, Silicon Perspective Corporation. Silicon Perspective Corporation developed the industry leading First Encounter virtual prototyping system. Prior to Silicon Perspective, Wei-Jin managed product development at Quickturn Design Systems, a leader in emulation technology, and held engineering and management positions at Hewlett Packard and Lucent Bell Labs.

Wei-Jin holds M.S. and B.S. Degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley.
