TMC’s AMR(Adaptive Multi Rate) Speech Encoder is designed to be compliant with 3GPP(The 3rd Generation Partnership Project), and has the feature of switching to any bit-rate every frame(160 samples, correspond to 0.02 sec). Therefore, it is available for various applications, mobile phones or PDA’s as typified by mobile hand sets, or for network distribution service, for example.
