SP8051 Microcontroller

Overview

The SP8051 Core is binary (or instruction) compatible with Intel MC51 / 8051 microcontroller. It features small foot-print and low-power. This is one of the most popular MCU for embedded application.

The SP8051 architecture allows easy customization to add custom counters, timers, and general purpose IOs. The SP8051 package comes with source code based reference design on FPGA/ASIC as well as C code examples.
